2018 Siaurac

Château Siaurac, an iconic estate in Lalande de Pomerol It was mentioned in the 1893 Férét’s edition " Bordeaux et ses vins" that “Château Siaurac is only separated by the first growths of Pomerol by a small trickle of water called the Barbane.” The estate is located on the plateau of Néac, which is a continuation of the famous plateau of Pomerol, and its vineyard is in a single, contiguous plot. It is the largest estate of the appellation and is comprised of 46 hectares of planted vine, a nineteenth-century château and 15 hectares of rolling parkland, home to centuries-old trees, an orangery and eighteenth-century landscaped woods. Between 2014 and 2020 Artémis Domaines used the group’s experience to further enhance the standing of this historic estate. In 2020, they decided to sold the estate to Les Terroirs de Suravenir (Calon Ségur, Capbern, Vray Croix de Gay and Le Prieuré), a subsidiary of the Crédit Mutuel Arkea banking group. Château Siaurac is the most iconic estate of the Lalande de Pomerol appellation.
