2018 La Garde Rouge 12 Pack

Château La Garde is a pure jewel, led by the Dourthe team to the very top of its appellation since 1990. This vintage, like 2016 or 2010, once again showcases the outstanding terroir that we have at La Garde. The diversity of soils, particularly the spectacular deep gravel slope named “le plateau”, is famous among our pairs, and our pride for 29 years. The wines are intensely colored, the tannins both rich and sweet. It’s THE gem to discover in this appellation. The journalists, once again, have emphasized this unanimously with the highest scores ever. Château la Garde is part of the 6 favorite wines of Thierry Desseauve ( along with Giscours, Calon-Ségur, Palmer), other ratings like the 92-93 James Suckling, 91-94 Wine Spectator, or 17,5+ Weinwisser are starkly illustrative.
