Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW - Robert Parker Wine Advocate
Composed of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep garnet-purple color and fragrant notes of rose hip tea, unsmoked cigars, powdered cinnamon and cloves with a core of warm cassis, redcurrant jelly and kirsch. Medium to full-bodied, elegantly played and soft spoken, it has nice fine-grained tannins and plenty of freshness supporting the red and black fruit layers, finishing on an earthy note. 200 cases were made.

A barrel sample made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon displays a deep garnet-purple color. It leaps from the glass with vivacious boysenberries, red and black currants and black raspberry scents plus hints of rose hip tea, dried Provence herbs and underbrush. Medium to full-bodied, it has a firm, grainy texture and oodles of freshness supporting the muscular fruit, finishing long.

A red with very pure blackberry, currant and clove, as well as hints of white pepper. It’s medium-to full-bodied with integrated, refined tannins and a creamy-textured finish. Finely crafted young red. Drink after 2023.

Antonio Galloni MW - Vinous
Points: (92-95) The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is a big step up from the 2017, but then again, we're talking about a much more important vintage. Succulent dark cherry, plum, chocolate, licorice, spice and menthol all add character to a distinctive Rutherford Cabernet that will drink well out of the gate. This is a gorgeous wine.

Ripe-berry and floral aromas with some dried-flower undertones. Medium to full body with juicy fruit and tannins and a flavorful finish. Cedar, too.
