Winemakers Note
The estate Château Soutard is one of the oldest properties of Saint-Emilion. First mention of Soutard date back to 1513. The chateau has been transformed in the 18th century, is listed at the French historical monuments. Classified since 1952, Soutard is owned by AG2R LA MONDIALE insurance group since 2006. Its 30ha large contiguous vineyard is one of the most representative frome the limestone plateau of Saint-Emilion. The vineyard is planted with merlot, cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon and malbec. The team seeks to respect and highlight the expression of the terroir, the purity of the fruit, with measure and precision.
