Fabulous perfumes of citron, beeswax, candied fruits, and a classic Yquem palate, powerful and driving, and not over-sweet, but clean and refreshing to finish. A very great wine.

A pure, racy, floral style, with bright white peach, heather and honeysuckle notes driving along. The core of fresh orchard fruit is unctuous, the finish long and lacy, with marvelous cut and finesse. The purity of Botrytis in this wine is so impressive with dried fruits such apple and mango. And then spicy character. Full body and very sweet but it is incredibly fresh and lively. Such class and elegance. Perfectly manicured wine. Everything in the right place. This shows a delicacy and intensity that are spellbinding. Drink in 2018.

This is a super balanced and racy Yquem with nuts. light pineapple and apple character. Full and dense but bright and fresh. Love the spicy botrytis with light apple tart and nuts on the finish. Not a great vintage for Sauternes, but Yquem stays on top. Points: 94-95

Medium yellow-green, gold reflections. Fine nuances of orange zest, a touch of herbs, discreet lanolin hint, some sea buckthorn, underlaid with a discreet apricot touch. Juicy yellow stone fruit, distinct sweet fruit, rather discreet acidity, powerful, candied orange zest, dried apricots and white pepper, salty touch, a full-bodied sweet wine which is already well developed.
