Jane Eyre Pommard 2024

90 POINTS

Neal Martin - Vinous

The 2024 Pommard Aux Chanlins comprises just 300 litres this year that fully ripened at 12.5° according to Eyre. It has a backward nose that opens with aeration, red fruit (again) with freshly tilled loam and light tobacco scents manifesting with time. The palate is well balanced with grainy tannins, nicely structured, quintessential Pommard with that slightly austere and peppery but fresh finish. Give this a year in bottle. Points: 89-91
