Pale lemon yellow with a green-gold hue. The nose is lifted with intense white florals and wild herbs: jasmine carried on a breeze with sage and thyme. Ripe stone fruit, poached pear, and a subtle hint of nougat add richness to the aromatic profile, giving the wine a fragrant and varietally true perfume. On the palate, white peach, a touch of marzipan, and lemon pith define the entry, underpinned by ripe apple and a mineral citrus note that adds depth and drive. The flavour profile is expansive and slightly exotic, with a delicate spicy-floral nuance. Phenolics and texture are so finely entwined with the fruit that the tactile sensation becomes an extension of the aromatic spectrum. Long, flavoursome, and commanding of generously flavoured food.

Nicole Bilson - Winepilot
Arneis is a variety that hails from Piedmont in north-west Italy. With a cool climate and higher altitude sites, Rowlee Wines consistently delivers a beautiful Aussie example. The aromas are perfectly varietal with ripe peak-summer apricots and white nectarines. There’s the early evening perfume of wildflowers and a delicate sea shell minerality. n the mouth, it’s crisp and zesty with stone fruits, honeydew melon and Pink Lady apples. Just a hint of residual sugar (5g) highlights the fresh fruit flavours and adds texture, while well-balanced acidity ensures dryness on the finish. Don’t be shy of the less familiar variety, this is a glorious crowd-pleaser.
Winemakers Notes
The fruit was harvested on 7 March 2025 and immediately transported to the winery where it was gently whole bunch pressed. The lightly fined juice was racked to stainless steel with a portion racked to older French oak barriques for fermentation. The portion in tank was then fermented at cool temperatures to retain varietal character and freshness. The use of older oak and the extended aging on lees adds texture and complexity. The wine was blended, lightly fined, filtered and bottled on 29 January 2026.
