Founded by Barbara Fores more than 100 years ago, the estate was taken over in 2014 by Pili Sanmartín Ferrer - the sixth generation of the family. Pili and her mother, Carmen Ferrer, promote a dialogue of wine with the arts, the landscape and the everyday order of things. With the passing of generations, they have learnt to value both the history and the potential of the region, the dignity of working the land and the importance of the landscape in their everyday lives. Or, as they put it, ‘we are blindly committed to the land we inhabit’.
