Sakura refers to the cherry blossom festival held in Cowra every year which acknowledges the links between the local community and Japan, even if those links are largely rooted in the history of the Prisoner of War camps for the Japanese during World War II. It is a nice touch. The range is organic, hailing from the Central Ranges in New South Wales. This is a seriously aromatic Savvy, one for the purists as it is undoubtedly varietally correct. The colour here is a pale lemon with green flecks. Moderation on the nose, we have notes of florals, limes, dried herbs, nettles, citrus and spices, and there is a good minerally backing. Fresh and soft, it is a middle of the road style of Savvy which will suit most. Fresh acidity lifts the wine, and it will provide easy drinking over the next couple of years.

Organic Sauvignon Blanc from the Central Ranges, the colour here is a very pale lemon with green flecks. A moderate nose, we have notes of florals, limes, dried herbs, nettles, citrus and spices, and there is a good minerally backing. Fresh and soft, it is a middle of the road style of Savvy which will suit most. Fresh acidity lifts the wine and it will provide easy drinking over the next two years.

Margarita vibes here with loads of lime, pineapple and slices of green apple. There is a lift of kiwi and wheatgrass. Overall, a bright and zesty wine with a clean, dry finish. A nod to some Greek yoghurt creaminess on the finish.
