Whistle while you work, though quite often I’m doing more whetting of the whistle than actual whistling while I work. Blackberry, cherry, some liquorice, a dusting of pepper and spice. Medium to full-bodied, juicy black fruit, black olive and dark chocolate, some sweet orange juice tang to acidity, dusty grainy tannin, a little mulch and cool autumnal character about it from the cooler vintage, with a spicy orange peel finish of good length.

A juicy but well-built, focused shiraz with dark cherries, dried herbs, earth and warm spices, following through to a medium body with fine tannins. Plenty of fruit with a well-driven, focused and poised development.
