The Winery of Good Hope Bush Vine Chenin Blanc 2025 12 Pack

This Chenin Blanc comes from bush vines grown on the gravelly slopes and decomposed granite soils of the Helderberg, benefiting from the cooling maritime breezes of False Bay. The season brought record winter rainfall, cooler summer conditions and fewer heatwaves, leading to vigorous growth, healthy yields, and a dry harvest with excellent fruit quality. Parcels were hand-picked at different ripeness levels for complexity and balance, then cool-fermented in stainless steel using natural yeast. The juice was kept on lees for four months with occasional bâtonnage to build palate weight and texture, blended prior to bottling, and only minimally fined before filtration to retain flavour and fruit definition.
