The 2022 Ypsilon is dark and brooding, pulling the taster down to the earth with a burst of sous bois , mentholated herbs and woodland berries. This is silky-smooth, with ripe wild berry fruits, autumnal spices and zesty citrus tones enlivened by a core of brisk acidity. It tapers off remarkably fresh yet long and staining, leaving a bitter blackberry crunchiness to linger. The Ypsilon is a blend of 60% Corinto Nero, 30% Nero d'Avola and 10% Alicante.
