Winemaker Phil Brodie tells me that he’s pretty excited about the quality of the reds from 2025. This is a balanced and refreshing example of Sauvignon Blanc. It offers pink grapefruit, gooseberry, a slight fennel perfume with a little nettle tucked safely in. It’s bright and juicy, a bit of flinty grip, grapefruit and lime, a light quinine bite with a subtle grassy finish of good length. Nice.
