The 2024 Sauvignon Blanc Wild Ferment comes from estate-grown fruit at around 500m above sea level on south-facing vines. Matured in 300-litre barrels with 10% new oak, it has an attractive quasi-Chardonnay nose with apricot and light yellow plum aromas. The palate is vibrant and tensile. Crisp acidity, lovely texture with a hint of brioche and spice on the finish, this is a delightful "Savvy" even if it does veer away from the grape's signature traits.
