Tasting Notes

Paul Giraud was the first President of the independent producers of Cognac, a group of families not selling their spirit to the big houses, but bottling it themselves, under their name. Within the Giraud family, the first son of each generation is called Paul and continue the tradition with an immense know-how passed on from father to son. Paul Giraud vineyard is in located in Grande Champagne; harvest is still done manually in some parts (ony 1% or 2% does as such in the Cognac region). This Vielle Reserve is an XO aged for minimum 25 years (by law XO Cognac have to be aged minimum 10 years). This is a hidden champion, and very good value for money.
