Soft, medium-weight red with a sizzle of tart acidity through the plusher texture. Dark cherry, cola, smoky paprika, some new leather and pencil shavings. A little aggressive and firm in tannin profile with a smoky, twiggy finish. Has some drinkability but is also a little coarse.

It’s both arms and legs and a bit hollow but there are berried fruit flavours here, strings of herbs and maybe some florals too. It remains though a pretty tough wine to love.
