This is a non-vintage cuvee labelled 2011 to denote its '11 base vintage and bottling. A pretty strawberry hull and red cherry bouquet flows seamlessly through the palate of this ultra pale salmon rose, with just 2% pinot noir red wine adding a fragrant layer over the wonderfully textured and complex palate of the NV Swift Cuvee Brut. It finishes with bright red berry fruits, vibrant acidity and elegant persistence.

The 6th release. Tirage in 2013 in the spring following vintage, the same year. 76/24% chardonnay/pinot noir (added as red wine). Seven years on secondary lees with a slightly higher dosage (6.5g/L) than the regular Brut NV, suiting the style very well (with the caveat that it needs to be served cold – anything close to tepid will allow the sweetness to creep between the acid rims). A very pallid coral with onion-skin edges. Delicate aromas of crushed strawberry, musk, cranberry and rosehip. The mid palate, creamy and mid weighted of feel, without detracting from the pixelated, racy finish. Excellent fizz as an apero or better, with roast duck.
