Tasting Notes

This Coal River Valley Pinot Noir is both elegant and expressive. It bursts with vibrant red berries, complemented by earthy spice. Concentrated layers of red fruit, touched with vanilla and dried sage, offer an intriguing and complex palate. The mid-palate impresses with its fresh texture and fine structure, providing a solid foundation for the wine's expansive intensity. Notably, it boasts an exceptional length, seemingly stretching out for miles. With time, this wine will evolve, unfurling even greater complexity, thanks to its elevated structure. Anticipate a graceful aging potential of 15+ years.

Product Highlights

From a 5-Star Halliday-rated Tasmanian winery and an internationally acclaimed winemaker comes a multi award-winning Pinot Noir where absolutely nothing was left to chance. And nothing was spared in the pursuit of excellence.

Hand-picked, hand sorted, hand plunged two to three times a day. Aged on lees for 10 months prior to blending and bottling, this Pinot is exquisite now and will further reward careful cellaring, too. The attention to detail is next level.

Look forward to bursts of vibrant red berries backed up by an earthy spiciness. Layers of red fruits with hints of vanilla and sage with a finish that seemingly goes on forever. This Pinot will only show even more complexity over time.
