Product Highlights

There's a reason we can't put the label on this page, and it isn't modesty. This comes from a family-owned winery in Wilyabrup that has been growing grapes on loamy gravel a few kilometres from the Indian Ocean since the early 1980s.

It was one of the first to bottle Margaret River's signature Semillon Sauvignon Blanc blend. The Semillon is from the estate's own vines, now over 40 years old. The Sauvignon Blanc comes from cooler Karridale in the deep south for snap and freshness.

Both were picked at night to lock in brightness, and a fifth of the wine spent two months on lees in new French oak for a creamy, textural layer.

In the glass it's gooseberry, star fruit and lime zest, then pink grapefruit and a touch of vanilla, with crisp acidity that lingers.

Pour it with prawns on the barbie or fish and chips by the water. It's a Margaret River original in a plain wrapper, at a price that makes it a midweek white.
