A crunchy, deeply fruited blend of 55.1/42.3/2.6% cabernet sauvignon/shiraz/malbec matured in American and French oak for 24 months. Deep blackberry, satsuma plum and black cherry fruits with a touch of raspberry lift. Hints of cedar, brown spice, sage, rosemary, violets, roasting meats, dark chocolate, aniseed and earth. The fruit is pure and tangy with a bit of crunch to its edges. The tannin is thick and powdery and there's some great energy to its line.
