Purple, raspberry and violet hues lead into an aromatic nose of raspberries, tobacco leaf and boiled lolly sweetness, layered with green and dried herbs, raspberry vinegar, cold black tea, star anise and fennel. On the palate, an effortless structure carries grip without heavy tannins, with red and dark berries — raspberry, blackberry, blueberry — swirling alongside savoury, fruit-sweet notes. The finish is long, lingering, fresh and uplifting.
Winemakers Notes
Made from grapes hand-tended and sorted bunch by bunch from a McLaren Vale vineyard, this Grenache was naturally open-fermented with 50% whole bunch.
