Tasting Notes

A beautiful, fruit driven, grape-to-bottle Cognac. Francois Voyer is a grower producer: he owns his vineyard and makes his Cognac entirely on his property. Francois Voyer vineyard is located in Grande Champagne, the 1er Cru de Cognac. Present on the finest tables of France, hailed by the specialized press as "among the best of the Grande Champagne", this producer reflects the history of a family, and the beauty of their vineyard. The "Terres de Grande Champagne" (soil from Grande Champagne) is a minimum 5 years old, up to 15 yeas old, and already round and rich. Good value for money. EYE: golden and coppery. NOSE: fine aromas, where flowery tones prevail, as well as apricot and vanilla. PALATE: medium bodied, with stone fruits and vanilla oak flavours, finishing freshly and smoothly. How to enjoy it? Best as a casual digestif, but also deliicous as long drink: 30ml Cognac, ice, and top up with tonic.

Delightful drop

"This cognac is so different to the "big names" one buys in the shops. It's so smooth and has almost a slightly sweetish aftertaste. Wonderful digestif!"
