Famille Hugel Riesling Classic 2024

The 2024 Riesling Classic is made from around half estate-grown fruit from Riquewihr, supplemented by additional villages in the north and south. Unusually, the nose shows a kiss of crushed fennel seed above pear and lemon. The palate is super slender and vividly bright, almost sylph-like but with exquisite lemony charm and lemon pithiness. This is an electric, vivid little Riesling; the finish is bone-dry and lip-smacking and should be a tonic on a hot day. (Bone-dry)
