Scratch & Dent Basic Mixed Dozen (ITM60167)

It's time we let you in on a little secret.

Every now and then, the warehouse crew pack up a collection of random bottles that have marks/stains on the label and sell them to the team as Scratch & Dent Staff Cases.

We love these cases because you end up with ridiculously good wine for just $119/dozen (under $10 a bottle). No one cares about the odd mark on the label because the wines are genuinely amazing.

Each case is different, but what's guaranteed is that every Scratch & Dent case contains at least $200 worth of quality wines.

Ultimately, you're getting what is basically a wine lucky dip, with the only caveat that these wines may have marks or dings on the packaging. But given the quality of these cases? Gee what a bargain for $119 a dozen...

*Please note: Wines may have been part of a damaged case. While we expect some marks or blemishes, you may be lucky enough to receive to receive wines which have no marks at all!

Estimated value of case is based on minimum RRP

Wine selection can vary and could be 12 individual wines or 4 of the same wine... in other words, every case is different!

We keep these wines in our warehouse until we have enough boxes to pack. Because of this, some of our wines may not be the latest vintage.

Reviews

Basic

"Included some wine types I would not have sought. Still, good to try new vineyards."

Clarence S. (4/5)

Good value

"The whites in the case have been a standout, particularly the Pinot gris!"

Annie W. (4/5)

Bargain box

"As always, a happy combination of mostly interesting wines. Fun too - you never know what you're going to get!"

Richard R. (5/5)

An enjoyable "mystery box"

"I ordered this mixed dozen as my contribution to a family holiday. I was pleased to find a balanced mix of reds and whites, all different. It was perfect for a mixed family -the whites only group, the ABC s, the Pinot Noir but not Shiraz person, etc. . . . I checked the online reviews (and RRPs) of some bottles and was pleased with both the quality and value for money. I'll definitely look for this again."

Catherine H. (5/5)

"Good wines"

Mystery What you will get

"But great value and perhaps a selection of wines that you would not normally buy. A few international wines too, and guaranteed value - as long as you can live with stained or scratched labels!!!"

Michael H. (5/5)

Scratch & Dent

"Only issue for us particularly was there were too many Sauvignon Blanc, other than that a good way to try different labels."

Greg H. (4/5)

A couple of interesting wines here

"As usual these boxes are fun. A nice mix with some really fine wines. Can't beat the price! Sometimes a chance to try a wine you haven't heard of or sampled before."

Richard R. (5/5)

Best Yet

"I always have fun with these all-mystery selections. The latest was great with less of the usual riff-raff and more of some really nice quality wines that TWC usually sells for as much as $25. These boxes help introduce me to some new styles and makers"

Richard R. (5/5)

Reaaly Good Value

"It is a mystery what you might get, or the condition of the bottle caps or labels, but the value is assured...."
