Carillion “Volcanics” Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

The Volcanics Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 is produced from Carillion’s vineyard in Orange, NSW, on the slopes of Mount Canobolas, an extinct volcano.

The vineyard’s cool climate and high altitude, combined with its volcanic clay loams over light-to-medium clays, provide the foundation for exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon.

The Volcanics is made only in years of outstanding quality and represents the pinnacle of what Carillion’s Orange vineyard has to offer.

The 2013 vintage has developed into a special mature red wine, earning the Best Mature Red Wine trophy at the 2022 Orange Wine Show.

This is a museum-release Cabernet Sauvignon, showcasing the quality, distinct vineyard character and ageing potential of Carillion’s high-altitude Orange vineyard.
