Mike Bennie - The Wine Front

Big tasting day today with GW and longtime subscriber Woody. Very fine and energetic feel to the wine, green apple, cumquat in the mesh of things, even a little vanilla note, slightly creamy (?), maybe, something though. A very neat and tidy wine, precise in its way, a touch juicy. Very quaffable, with quality markers notable. Good drinking.

Dave Brookes - Halliday Wine Companion

Pale straw with a green flash and lifted characters of freshly squeezed lime, Granny Smith apple and grapefruit. Hints of white flowers, crushed stone, sea spray, almond paste, clover blossom and lemongrass. Bone dry with a sizzling saline acid line and focus, the finish super crisp and precise. Super stuff.

Angus Hughson - Vinous

Made from the oldest Riesling vines in Tasmania, the 2025 Riesling has beautiful composure, with fragrant orchard fruit and citrus aromas topped by a gentle savoury edge. Good tension with a tight, fresh line of chalky acidity holds through to a long, singular finish. Moreish and should age well.

Regan Drew - Winepilot

Pale hue. Aromatic with leafy green apple, white chalk, ‘Wizz Fizz’ sherbet, flint, lemon drop and balsa wood. Fleshy apple on the palate, with lemon drop citrus and fennel top anise/herbaceous tones. Flowing and with a fuller structure. Showing a little of the vintage with riper characteristics yet maintains class and balance.
