Another bouncy and fruity wine with some extract and punchy cordial like notes. Red toffee apple, raspberries and cherry syrup. Tannins are very powdery, they almost stick to the tongue and acidity is high and mighty. The friendly nature of potent fruit, means this is a Sangiovese that won’t scare anyone away but more draw you in with enticing fruit and before long you’ll be seeking out the wines with firmer structure. For that I really commend it. A wonderful wine for paprika based spicy cured meats.

Aged in larger oak barrels. This works well. It has grip and minerality, bright red berry fruitiness, peppery spice notes, a bit of ferrous earthiness and sits at just on medium weight. It feels like sangiovese from the dictionary should – leans into its more refreshing side and delivers on that promise for those seeking vibrant reds. Easy to like.
