It's elegant and beautifully scented on the nose, with aromas of green apple, white-fleshed nectarine, fig, and lime peel. The palate is concentrated and focused with fine flow, backed by beautifully pitched acidity, making it wonderfully structured and harmonious with a sustained, refined finish.

Ken Gargett - Winepilot

Some of the vines used for this very youthful but delightfully fresh Riesling from the Watervale sub-region date back to the 1930s. Pale lemon in colour, this is beautifully perfumed, with notes of lemon curd, spices, florals and grapefruit. A fine line of minerals and river stones in the background as support. There is fine balance and bright acidity, which runs the full journey. Enjoy over the next ten to fifteen years. Stunning value.

New Season Riesling ready to go in line with the 2025 Vintage’s early harvest. Watervale sourced, brimming with all its regional character and freshly unleashed energy. Fantastic lemon and lime crush – juice and zest, makrut lime leaf as well – with a distinctive lavender like perfume. The lemons drive the palate at first, acidity lively up front, tapering to a more restrained zing in the finish, leaving more of a white pepper spice note to linger in the exit, that perfume reverberating as you lower the glass. Very approachable for such a freshie.

Shanteh Wale - Winepilot

A springtime fling of star jasmine, white pear and yellow plums. There is a salt bath mineral note, crushed chalk and all manner of lemon and lime trees overloaded with hanging with fruit. The palate is fairly dry with a skerrick of tutti fruity nectar, but with that bracingly crisp finish we all know and love. A touch of fuzzy sage and raw almond on the finish. This is perky and uplifted and a wonderful wine to kick start a party. Drink with dancing music, corn chips and chunky guacamole.

A bright, vibrant and positively identifiable Clare Valley classic riesling. Lemon and lime, faintest tropical fruits, red apple crunch, a little hazy, talc-like quality to the wine. Upfront juiciness, the finish a bit short, shrill and tart, but dry and pleasing enough. Simple, done well.
