Fine, bracing Adelaide Hills Riesling. Nose shows a minerally, slatey character. Palate crisp with green apple-citrus combination and subtle musky hint. Tense palate extends to a fine lingering finish. Current drinking with medium-term potential.

A nervy and refreshing riesling with a skeletal frame, tense citrus acid profile and some talc-like minerality in tow. Lots of perfume, crunchy framework, tight and tense and vibrant. A little light-on in profile overall, but very delightful drinking ensues.

Once upon a time this wine was called Iron Knob, which me being me, I loved. It was kind of a crossover between Finbarr Saunders and Game of Thrones. This is a crunchy and lively wine. Pleasing chalky texture, bright acidity, pink grapefruit and lime, with a sort of Margarita refreshment value. It finishes well and drinks a charm. Very good.

Ken Gargett - Winepilot

The harvest for this vintage in the Adelaide Hills was a very dry one and especially early, but it is proving to have produced some very fine wines. This Riesling underwent a cool fermentation in stainless steel. The colour here is almost invisible, the palest lemon. On the nose, we have aromas weaving through florals, citrus, mandarins, wet slate and a touch of beeswax. There is good energy and focus here. The wine is clean, taut and of medium length. Enjoy this over the next six to eight years.
