I commented on the 2018 vintage, that it’s been a long time since I’ve tasted this wine, and at the time the last vintage I’d had a crack at was the 2010 – see HERE. My word, time passes. Red fruits, cola nut, mint, some lemon peel. It’s medium-bodied, red fruits, again that citrus peel thing bobs up and lends a bit of bite, there’s something of a baked character to red fruit, with a zesty, dry and slightly bitter finish of solid length. A bit meaty and rugged, but not a bad wine all up. Has some interest. A decent quaffing wine.
