Fiano is growing as a serious Italian varietal to grow in many local regions. The Hilltops, just one hour north of us, a little lower in elevation so just that little bit warmer than the Canberra district. This variety loves this region, the continental climate - warm days, cold nights - allows for acid retention, lengthening the season. early days yet but we think this is the best Italian variety to grow alongside all the reds we source from Hilltops.
