Comes in a bottle, but also in a 250ml can ($11), and I love a wine in a can, so I thought I would taste them side by side. Can: A much brighter pink flamingo colour than the bottle, which, in another ornithological reference, is more eye of the partridge. It’s juicy bright and crisp, carries some spritz, almost sherbetty ,redcurrant, fresh strawberry and blood orange, a gentle grip of powdery tannin, with a lively finish of good length. A bit of an electric feel to it and so refreshing and thirst quenching. It pops. I like it. Tastes almost like a tank sample. Delicious. 92 points. Bottle: This is more vinous and under-stated, redcurrant and rosehip, something a little saline too, with a flicker of aniseed. It’s a little but nutty, and again saline, blood orange with a slight amaro tang, along with some more meaty and umami flavours, and a finish of good length. Less energy, more complexity, and yet I prefer the punch and vitality of the can. 91 points. Conclusion: Go the can! Fun and kind of naughty.

A pale–medium copper hue with some development, yet lovely aromatics – all roses and lemon blossom. A touch of spice and red fruited on the palate. It’s zingy and zippy, led by racy acidity, with some grip to the finish.
