There's something about the way Spain has influenced modern Australian winemaking, with this Tempranillo - a native grape to the Iberian peninsula - a case in point.

It's made in the Joven style - young, fruit drenched, and with just a bare lick of oak to add a soupcon of complexity. Drinkable? Yes. Remarkable? Even more so. The winemaking is on point, and the winemaker's skill on show. If you know the NSW wine scene, you know this brand, and who's behind it. They've been an upstart on the scene now for 20 years, to the point, you could almost say they've reached the tier of ‘elite’ and ‘best in class’.

Depth, brightness and energy. A cool-climate masterpiece. Be looking forward to aromas of dark cherry and plums interwoven with plush tannins and a soft supple finish. Such a luscious red!
