A Rosé that is actually based on a white variety – Riesling in this case – almost seems a rarity these days. It has a dollop of Mataro included, to give it a hint of colour. The idea is to provide a fresh and elegant style of Rosé and, in that, they have succeeded magnificently. The colour is reminiscent of the last vestiges of sunset pink. Delightfully aromatic, there are notes of spices, citrus, florals and hints of strawberries. An elegant style with flavour, there is juicy acidity and decent length. Appealingly fresh, this should drink beautifully for the next two to four years.

Shanteh Wale - Winepilot

Pale rose quartz hue in the glass, with a burst of watermelon slushie, summer strawberries and nectarine slices. Pink frangipani and honeysuckle. A bouquet fit for a bride, this is aromatically stunning. The to and fro of sweet and puckering, means this is fit for the dinner table but equally enjoyed picnicking on a lawn. Bone dry and with plenty of grapefruit juice zest and zeal.
