In 2012 Anthony Girard had the opportunity, rather rare these days, to acquire an 8.5 hectare estate and to forge his own path, after time spent with the family winery. He follows organic principles in his winemaking and his aim is to allow his wines to exhibit their purest varietal expression. Pale lemon in colour, the nose reveals an array of aromas including nettles, passionfruit, dry herbs, warm earth, peach pits and apricot skins. With medium length with zesty acidity, tt will provide attractive drinking for the next two to four years.

Delicate floral aromas lift from the glass including lilac and bruised honeysuckle followed by Fuji apple and hints of lychee. The rounded palate unveils a stony minerality with flakes of sea salt and lemon peel on the finish. Pair with oysters, linguine alfredo and salmon caviar.
