Citrus-driven aromas of lemon peel, lime peel and green apples on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with focused acidity and a generous texture, giving notes of passion fruit, cut grass and green papayas. Delicious and fresh. Made from 90% sauvignon blanc and 10% semillon.

A classic Margaret River SBS, with much of the fruit sourced from the estate’s southern sites. With 2024 a warmer and faster vintage than usual, these cooler sites may have helped produce an SBS that is balanced, with no overblown characteristics. The nose is loaded with pleasurable, punchy aromatics, gooseberry, savoury tomatillo, guava, a hint of curry leaf, semi-dried grass, Bramley apple, and lemongrass. A little savoury but not in the sweaty spectrum. Vibrant acidity is nicely tempered by ripe phenolics and loosely cased in oak. Juicy and salivating, with a nice balance of tropical and savoury. A little spice, a breeze of salinity, crunch on the palate and a just-there funky edge which ups the personality factor in this well-made wine. A fab drop for $28.

This is a crowd-pleaser. It’s a dry white wine but the fruit flavours have very good intensity and indeed there’s a whisper of fruit sweetness, in the best of ways. Pineapple, passionfruit, apple, lemongrass and anise characters put on a good show here. It’s delicious.

Bright, fresh and eminently drinkable. Subtle notes of passionfruit, green mango, pineapple and apple lift gently from the glass, followed by a hint of herbaceous lemongrass. The palate offers a nice pop of fruit – fresh and vibrant. Lime cordial, lemon zest, lemongrass and pineapple hit the front palate, gliding through to medium length with zippy, citrus-laced acidity. There’s a thirst-slaking appeal that’s right in the zone at $28, calling for a sunny day outside.
Jane Faulkner - Halliday Wine Companion
Always a distinct wine whether sauvignon blanc leads or semillon as it’s a variation on a lime theme – makrut leaves, finger lime and plenty of lively citrusy juice. Lots of fresh herbs and just a gauze-like layer of texture adding to a palate brimming with acidity, even if a touch green.

The 2024 Miamup Sauvignon Blanc Semillon is lean, tight and grassy, with lilac notes, lavender, green apple and chalk. This is so fresh as to almost be minty—an odd observation perhaps but one that aligns with the glass. Apple-y and light, it's a crunchy little wine best suited to drinking now. 12% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
