Tasting Notes

This plot located at the very top of the village of Puligny, close to the hamlet of Blagny, is the highest 1er cru of the appellation. These first juices were vinified in barrels only with 25% new barrels. The fermentations ended at the end of December. The aging in barrels continued for 8 months with regular stirring every week. The wine has a slightly woody nose which then reveals very floral aromas of white flowers but also violet and then lemon. The palate is straight and ample then evolves on freshness, it is quite stretched and very precise. We find the floral aromas in the mouth and more buttery aromas which bring a fat which balances the mouth.
