The 2023 Harcourt Syrah has 60% whole bunches in the ferment and was matured for almost two years in Stockinger barrels: 500-, 1,500- and 2,000-liter casks. Aromatically, the wine is floral and lifted, with lavender and violet, blackberry, blood plum and crushed rocks. The impact of the whole-bunch component is significant; it materially changes the shape of the tannins in the mouth and ups the impression of spiciness and exoticism. This is a lovely wine from a cooler year. 13.5% alcohol, sealed under Diam.
