Critic Reviews
Gary Walsh - The Wine Front
The 2023 Cab Merlot is my pick of the current Pitchfork releases, which is as it should be.
Red and black fruit, some dusty spices, mint and cocoa. It’s medium-bodied, a little bit nutty, subtle red capsicum flavour, some sooty tannin, with a finish of solid length. It’s maybe a little ‘commercial’ in presentation, though it’s a decent wine all up.
