Product Highlights

There is Pinot Grigio and then there is Pinot Grigio from Alto Adige.

That’s because the fertile glacial valleys of Alto Adige (also known as Sudtirol, given that it straddles the Austrian & Switzerland border) is where you’ll find the most impressive Pinot Grigio on the planet.

Simply put, the Grigio here is more fragrant and more intense. It’s just better. And with this 2023 Peter Zemmer La Lot Pinot Grigio, you can experience what the fuss is about.

Crafted by 3rd generation winemaker Peter Zemmer (his great uncle, also called Peter, founded the estate in the 1920s), this has an extra level of crisp pear intensity to it. It’s little wonder - Zemmer is known as one of the most revered Grigio craftsmen, with his single-vineyard Pinot Grigio recently scooping a pack of gold medals at the Decanter Wine Awards.

Ultimately, this is a delightfully fresh white wine with this clever textural edge that so much Australian or more generic Italian Pinot Grigio lacks.
