Tasting Notes

Brilliant light straw in colour with a golden hue. Aromas of white peaches and cedar with scents of vanillin are provided by the oak. A fresh, fruit-driven Chardonnay, filled with ripe stone fruit, creamy lemon tart nuances, and toasted oak spice, all carried by a bright, zesty acidity to a long finish.

Product Highlights

If you like Chardonnay that leans a little richer but still feels fresh, this is a great fit.

Coming out of Manjimup, you get that ripe stone fruit straight away, think peach and a bit of citrus, backed by a gentle creaminess that gives it a bit more weight through the palate.

A portion of new French oak adds some soft vanilla and toasted spice, but it’s nicely balanced by a zesty acidity that keeps everything lifted and stops it feeling heavy.

There’s a real sense of simplicity in how it’s made too. Minimal intervention, letting the fruit and the region do the talking.

This is the kind of Chardonnay that works across the board, easy to enjoy on its own, but also right at home with food when you want something with a bit more flavour.
