34.2/32.7/28.4/1.6/1.6/1.5% grenache/shiraz/mataro/carignan/counoise/cinsault – a right old "fruit salad" blend this year. I really hope that adds up to one hundred. Pretty sure it does. You don't need all those numbers in your head, though. You only need to know this is a crunchy, very easy to drink, contemporary red blend; mid-weighted, pure and lively with raspberry top notes and a lot to like. Super value here.

34.2% Grenache, 32.7% Shiraz, 28.4% Mataro, 1.6% Carignan, 1.6% Counoise and 1.5% Cinsault from Lyndoch, Gomersal, Lights Pass, Vine Vale and Ebenezer. So many things. It’s a bit more spicy and herbal than is usual, no bad thing, adds some interest, cherry, rhubarb, raspberry and boot polish. It’s medium to full-bodied, a bit nutty, a light grainy tannin grip, spiced raspberry and dried mango, with a slightly dusty and dry finish of good length.
