Tasting Notes

The PYLA vineyard, situated at the base of our hillside, is home to a diverse selection of grapes. Nero d'Avola, Carignan, Mourvedre, and Negroamaro form the core planting, complemented by smaller amounts of Montepulciano and Grenache. The grapes are handpicked and fermented using a high percentage of whole berries. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for 10 months in seasoned oak barrels before bottling. This wine offers an intense perfume with floral notes, sweet herbs, ripe cherry, and a hint of Campari. The palate is long and concentrated, featuring fine, graceful tannins. Medium-bodied, it delivers great refreshment.
