Domaine de la Cornasse is led by Nathalie Geoffroy, whose family estate was established in 1850 and is regarded locally as one of the classic producers of Chablis. Based in the village of Beine, the domaine crafts Bourgogne Blanc, Chablis, Premier Cru and Grand Cru wines that speak clearly of their origin. The vineyards are rooted in famed Kimmeridgian soils - ancient clay and limestone formed from what was once the bed of the Atlantic Ocean, rich with fossilised oysters, fish skeletons and other marine life. This remarkable terroir gives the wine its hallmark minerality, purity and poise.
