Shiraz sourced from the red dirt over limestone of the Gomersal subregion; matured for 14 months in seasoned French oak. Fresh, lifted blackberry, black cherry and damson plums with hints of dark chocolate, licorice, crushed stone, gentle vanillin oak, tea cake, panforte, coal dust and dried meats. Full bodied, with a chocolatey tannin pull, fine acidity and an impressive draw of fruit. At this pricepoint, this is a no-brainer.

This wine mines a reef of blackberry, baked plum, potpourri and peppercorn flavours, and does so to very good effect. It’s dark, flavoursome and tipped with just-enough chocolatey character to make it feel rounded and satisfying. If you’re in the mood for a Barossa Shiraz, this is a sound option.
