Russ Gallagher - Vino Masters
Bright pale gold in colour with a youthful vibrant sheen. The aroma is expressive and inviting, showing ripe melon, tropical fruit and lemon zest, layered with subtle oak, a hint of bacon fat and gentle savoury complexity. The palate is delightful and beautifully composed, delivering melon and tropical notes alongside fresh lemon, grapefruit and a buttery richness. Oak is seamlessly intertwined, adding depth and texture while crisp acidity keeps the wine fresh and precise through the finish. A rich yet refined Yarra Valley Chardonnay that balances generosity with freshness. Polished, complex and highly drinkable.

Sam Kim - Wine Orbit
A stylish rendition, the elegantly expressed bouquet shows grapefruit, crunchy apple, rockmelon, nougat, and roasted hazelnut aromas, leading to a finely focused palate that's linear and persistent. Wonderfully structured by beautifully infused acidity, finishing splendidly long and engaging.

Philip Rich - Halliday Wine Companion
Whole-bunch pressed and matured in French oak (39% new). A bright yellow gold with green tinges. A nicely worked wine, revealing stone fruits, some grapefruit pith and a little struck match. Even better on the medium-bodied, chalky textured, balanced and gently saline palate.

Philip Rich - Halliday Wine Companion
A brightly coloured wine redolent of white peach, a little vanillin from the oak and a touch of sea spray. Generous on the front of the palate, finishing saline and taut. A wine that should start hitting its straps in another six to 12 months or so

Ken Gargett - Winepilot
The team’s flagship Chardonnay is sourced from vineyards throughout the Yarra Valley, in particular the sub-regions of Gembrook, Healesville, Coldstream and Dixons Creek. After whole bench pressing, fermentation was with wild yeasts in French oak, 39% of which was new. The wine spent just under a year in oak during maturation. 400 dozen made. Gleaming yellow gold in colour, this is refined style, more so than some in this stable, and all the better for it. The nose gives us notes of stone fruits to the fore, with some attractive cashewy oak. We have peaches, a hint of pear, melons and honeycomb notes. The wine offers juicy acidity and decent length. A lingering style that will provide pleasure over the next six to eight years.

Crisp, lively, energetic start. Red apple and guava, peach and flint. Packed with zingy grapefruit flavour, plenty of gingery spice, almond nougat and cedar with a slightly warming finish. Clean-cut, inviting, engaging, reliable.
