Aromatics: Fragrant and spicy 1er Cru, black berries, red berries, subtle floral notes, violet, peony, roses with a charming yet deep earthy character. Very unique personality as it ages, it develops a soil taste that is reminiscent of the smell of gunflint or smoke. Palate: Medium bodied 1er Cru, intense and elegant, filled with black berries and red berries. Very fine tannins, spicy peppery taste, beautiful minerality and sense of place with a generous earthy and savory finish.
