Really aromatic nose, so full of scents; herbal, floral, savoury, fruity. Quite tight and dry, the tannins doing most of the talking right now, even though they're ripe and not harsh, so this doesn't feel over extracted. Juiciness comes through, but this retains quite a lean, focussed frame. Stops a touch short but good promise. Harvest 13 September-5 October. Ageing in French oak for 12-15 months, 33% new.
