Yellow peach skin, grated lemon zest and jonquil blooms. Bee pollen, honeycomb and mace. A touch of sandalwood. Pomelo and dried peach pit, a savoury tone from the oak on the palate. Cinnamon and ground cumin. Finishing with a hazelnut skin bitterness. A muscular wine that would suit many a main course dish.

The 2022 Chardonnay Sounds of White has been carefully handled, offering layered aromatics. There’s pineapple and melon fruit alongside a lightly reductive, flinty character, lees-derived oatmeal notes and a hint of creaminess rounding out the palate. However, there's no escaping the big, citrusy acid line that runs through it, leaving a lean overall impression.
