Product Highlights

What happens when two Burgundian powerhouses go looking for a summer holiday house in Provence?

They end up buying a vineyard and make a bloody good Rosé .

Jacques Seysses (founder of Domaine Dujac) and Aubert de Villaine (current head-winemaker at Domaine de la Romanee Conti) just couldn't help themselves and have teamed up to make the brilliant, fresh (and dry) 2018 Domaine Triennes Rosé. A wine that is currently winning them rave reviews and plaudits both locally and abroad. So much for taking a holiday...

Made predominantly from Cinsault, a grape native to the area, with a little touch of Grenache and Syrah for good measure, it is full of vanilla and strawberry with the crisp refreshing finish that has made Provence Rose famous all around the world.

Thanks to wine royalty behind this brand, Domaine Triennes have set a new benchmark for what is high quality, affordable Provence Rose. Let's be frank - there is no shortage of the stuff around, so with the Triennes, you can drink with confidence that you are getting the best fruit, from the best region, and made by some of the greatest winemakers currently on the planet.

"Such a good drink. It keeps you coming back for more…"
Gary Walsh, The Wine Front

"Domaine de Triennes is a partnership between two great names in Burgundy: Jacques Seysses of Domaine Dujac and Aubert de Villaine of Domaine de la Romanée Conti. So the quality is unsurprising."
Decanter Magazine

"This is fabulously soft and textural with smooth, seductive pear, grape and cherry fruit. There's delicacy and elegance here, and it finishes dry."

East of Aix-en-Provence, in a small department called Var, is where the Triennes team found their long sought after Provence haven. The gently sloping hillside and southern exposure, coupled with the unique microclimate that this region brings, has meant a rose of pristine beauty and underlying texture.

It's pale salmon colour, flavours of rose petal, bitter orange, summer merlon and cherry all speak of the classic Cote d'Azure Rose - a style with many international imitators, but one only the French seem to know how to master.
